Mini Christmas stocking

So while my computer is away getting fixed (fingers crossed!) I’m using my husbands.  It’s true, I feel somewhat lost without my laptop.  But I also had this strange kind of free feeling!  Like when you realize you forgot to bring your cell phone at first there’s a little panic and then freedom!  No one can track me down ;)

Back to Christmas ornaments.  Last time I was at Joann Fabric there were all these free patterns on a rack as you walk in.  I saw this little crochet stocking, so cute! Click here for the directions.  It’s super easy and quick.  I used some pretty heavy weight cotton yarn with a size 8 crochet hook.  These are addictive and would help use up all those little balls of left over yarn, have fun!

Wishing you all a wonderful day!

I’m sharing this at Carters Cottage

  1. I haven’t crocheted for a long time, but I think I might try this. I’ll look at JoAnn’s for the pattern.

  2. What a great idea! Love these! I have to pass this on to my friend who makes loads of knitted items for church craft fairs. This will be a winner for next year’s Christmas fair!

  3. Hi Jayne, what a nice little stocking, I know how to crochet also, and can tell these were quick and easy, but that is what we like to find especially in mid December, we can make quite a few. I feel for you and your computer problems. You do feel very lost without it especially when you have your baby (the blog) at a loss wondering who is reading what post and how you will ever make your posts without. but good that you can use your husbands.
Merry Christmas Jayne and as always everything you do is so nice!

  4. Very cute! and adds a homey touch to the tree ornaments :)

  5. So simple, so sweet !!

  6. I wish I knew how to crochet but the last time I did I got a crooked scarf.. :/ I love the stocking too cute!
