When you can’t think of anything else to do….

Why not quilt?  When I’m not in my garage painting, or out on the hunt for vintage treasures or knitting or crocheting you’ll probably find me quilting.  Either I’m zipping along on my Bernina or sitting and hand piecing and I just love it.  I also have lots and lots of hexagons and am using the English paper technique and who doesn’t love yo yo’s!  Here are some projects I’m working on with one wall hanging finished.

  1. A pen pal friend once sent me a pillow case with row of periwinkle yo yo’s on the open end. Periwinkle being my favorite color, it was an instant hit. Yours are very nice.

  2. Yo-yos and hexies and a doll quilt in the same post – you’re a girl after my own heart. I particularly love doing hand work during the summer, sitting outside in the sun. Your projects are beautiful.
